ESSEC Professor Stefan Gröschl hands out the CoBS responsible leadership certificates to a group of students at FGV-EAESP on the final day of his teaching and research week at our partner school in Sau Paulo, Brazil.
The event successfully brought to an end the first chapter of a faculty exchange pilot project between the member schools of the Council on Business & Society – ESSEC, FGV-EAESP, School of Management Fudan University, Keio Business School and Warwick Business School. Professors with a passion for CSR-related and responsible business practice issues will deliver teaching, present research and explore working partnerships with peers in France, Brazil, Japan, China or the UK during a one to four week stay. The experience not only benefits faculty international exposure, but also offers member school students a unique region-specific perspective to CSR. At the end of the learning experience, students are awarded a Council on Business & Society Responsible Leadership certificate.
It was during his assignment in Sau Paulo that Stefan was notified of his award by the FNGE (The French Foundation for Management Education) for the best research publication 2018 for his work on Jochen Zeitz, Puma CEO, and his journey to sustainability. Warm congratulations to Stefan on this great achievement.
The second chapter of this Council pilot project will see Prof. Mario Aquino Alves of FGV-EAESP arrive at ESSEC in October 2018 to deliver a Social Innovation & Alternative Organisations course to GBBA students, as well as presenting his award-winning research to ESSEC faculty colleagues.
